No, if you start on the right mode. Massage pulses rather than running a constant stream, and Soft is gentle enough for daily use while your gums adjust. Most people move up to Normal within a couple of weeks. Some bleeding in the first few days is common when you start flossing and usually settles.
For the first day or two, a little. Lean over the sink, keep your lips loosely closed around the tip, and let the water fall out as you go. Almost everyone has the technique sorted by the third session.
Yes. Includes a dedicated orthodontic tip shaped to clean around brackets and along the wire, plus a plaque brush tip for bands and bonded retainers. Start on Soft while your gums adjust, then move to Normal. Braces take longer to floss, so the 300ml tank means one fill does the full mouth.
Usually not. Light bleeding in the first week or two is common if your gumline hasn't been cleaned properly before. It normally settles within 7 to 14 days of daily use. If it's still bleeding after two weeks, see a dentist, because something else may be going on.
Yes. The R01 is not a replacement for your toothbrush. Brush twice a day and water floss once. String floss is still useful for tight contacts between teeth, so keep it if you already use it.
Up to 70 minutes of use on Soft mode per full charge, and it charges in 2 to 3 hours. For most people that's several weeks between charges.
Twelve months from purchase. Start your claim on our warranty page. You'll need your order number and a photo or video of the fault. We check the order, review it, and if it's covered we arrange the courier collection and pay it both ways. Repair or replacement usually takes 7 to 14 days from when the unit reaches us.
